the food in Indonesia that always has
synonymous with holidays is
ketupat. Ketupat made from
rice with unique
packaged. usually before the
celebration the family starts
making ketupat. process for

longer than cooking rice directly.
so it's not suitable to be
made every day. but ketupat can
last up to several day. usually
ketupat is served as a dish to
welcome guests from far away and
families who visit in that day. Ketupat is
suitable to be served with soup
or with peanut sauce.
to serve it the ketupat is peeled
and cut into small pieces. after
the feast is over. rarely people
cook ketupat. and no
restaurant serving it. but sometimes
there are also satay sellers who
make it although it's rare case
